This has been addressed briefly in other posts, but I have not found any definitive answers as of yet, so... Does anyone know the current production numbers of the 599 and if Ferrari is cutting its new 599 production numbers as a result of the recent economic problems in the world? There is quite a lot of used 599 inventory out there and the prices of these used cars are dropping at a frightening rate as a result of decreased demand (and probably a few other reasons too). Does anyone definitively know if Ferrari is doing anything to temper this, or will it continue to produce as many new 599s as it can sell which will probably only lead to further depreciation of the used 599s?
Impossible to speculate as to the current amount; I can account for at least 1,200, but there are certainly more. I'm sure production will slow, but I haven't seen anything from the factory that says they'll slow down with the 599 specifically, or by how much.
