So I have to get a new Radiator in the 599... the current one is corroded from inside out, and looks like swiss cheese - very tiny pinhole leaks almost like electrolytic corrosion...

This is the original rad - so what is the deal are they just poorly made? 2008 car... 13-year-old car with less than 28K miles? the radiator goes? and don't even get me on replacement costs....

happily, the car did not overheat - it really never got warm at all, idled great, always runs cool.

when the rad shroud was lifted up - I was amazed at the huge amount of dry leaves, bugs, and rocks that were accumulated on top of the rad! shocking that it cooled as well as it did.

My '08 also is having a radiator problem. A seam has come apart and is now out of the car for repair. It is my understanding that if the coolant is not changed out regularly, the unit will rot out. I know on my car this is only the second or third time the system has been flushed. I hope when it comes back from the welder they will tell me all is good. A new unit is about 10K before installation.
