    The remote/key for my 2011 599 does not open/lock the doors until I am literally right next to the vehicle. I replaced the remote/key batteries with new ones (verified the voltage too) and there was no improvement. Any idea how to reset the system or improve the range?

    Pretty typical of Ferraris. On earlier models there was an antenna that could be extended slightly for better range. Not sure if the 599 uses the same kind of antenna.
