    Just wondering if anyone has tried a 599 steering wheel with LEDs on a 2008+ F430 or Scud. In pics they look like the same wheels between the 599 and the F430 with just the LEDs. I guess the guts could be different. It seems easier to find a used 599 wheel with LEDs than a 430 one.

    I'll bite, why would it be easier. There were only 1197 599s brought into the US, not all had the LEDs. That make sit a rare beast.

    I'll offer the answer as.....the 599 one turns up on eBay more often and at a lower price than the 430 one.

    It looks like he made the mod to a 2006 F430, so I'm guessing that wasn't straight forward since it predated the scud wheel with the LEDs. Any ideas on someone who went with a newer F430 (08+) where you're supposed to be able to plug a scud wheel right in?
