When was the last time the word "Berlinetta" was used? Was it with the F355? I wonder if they will make F12 Spider...?
There was alot of similar talk when the 599 came with the designation "GTB" but all we ended up getting was the limited production Aperta, but we can still hope. It would by great to see a spider version of this.
i was disappointed that they did not make a regular production spyder 599, hopefully they do it right with this one. the demand for a drop top is certainly there. besides that point, i love this car. i was one of the few who thought the silver wood model looked great, and i am not disappointed at all with the final product. i cant wait to see it in person!

I'm sure they'll have some roofless special edition towards the end of the model run like they did with the 599.
I know what GTB stands for , but I've seen F355 cars that actually have the whole word spelled at the back. So I was wondering if they are leaving room for a "targa" version or a spider....
I guess they kind of did keep the flying buttresses from the 599 after all. They are just moved to the front fenders. And PS, I love that it will be a hatchback of sorts.
It could be also that the aerodynamic features does not allow for an open top design?Because it will mes up the flow of air above the bonnet, doors and all?
There is often a big difference between what Ferrari (or LdM) officially say and what will actually happen in reality.
Ferrari Marketing at its best Just makes us want it more------all the while, they know dam well that they are going to make it. The reason why?-----------because there is money still left on the table to be snatched up with a firm tight fist. greyhair
