    I have owned my 2009 599 now for 2+ years. I took it into the nearby hills Thanksgiving afternoon-a combination of straights, tight corners and low traffic. The car continues to amaze. Surprisingly agile, on rails in tight corners, lots of power, comfortable. Lightyears ahead of a similarly powered, mid-engine, manual transmission Murcielago I enjoyed a few years ago. I have grown to appreciate the 599 F1 transmission. The car has been flawless. For me, its the perfect GT.

    Could not agree more! Bought mine in July 2020 in SLC and drove it 2,000 miles home. This year, I did another 2,000 mile road trip and the car has been PERFECT!

    Prettier than an FF? From the side, maybe...from the front, absolutely not. I love the 599, but the worst part of the 599/612 are those stupid, insectoid headlight lenses. Possibly the ugliest headlights in history.

    Ryan- Look fine to me, Ugliest headlights in history? Kind of verbal overkill.

    Yup, prettier than and FF, including the front and headlights.

    When I saw the first article about the 599 in Forza, it totally knocked me out. I prefer the frontal facade with the GTO grill, but still this car is a knock out. It's interesting at shows how the model has real enthusiasts and other people walk right on by.

    We can literally use the word and meaning of beauty in this argument of 599 vs FF. I love the FF, but in terms of looks, not even in the same league as a 599.

    Back to original comment on the perfect GT car. Owned my 599 since late 2018, and 7 hour trips to LA was easy peasy and super comfortable.

    I have owned mine for some 9 years now. Perfect long trip cruiser, comfortable and fast. I have never thought of wanting more power. For me still looks great.
