    I was wondering if anyone could help me please. I have a 2008 gtb and have just bought a set of gto wheels for it. The new wheels are already have tires on them and are balanced. I didn't think to check the TPMS sensors. Are they compatible with the car? Thanks in advance.

    I was told by my mechanic that the TPMS sensors have to stay with the car although they can be changed out of course to different wheels. I had the HGTE kit added to my 07 and they just swapped the sensors from my Pentastar wheels to the HGTE wheels.

    Thanks very much. I took the plunge and just swapped the wheels over as they already had tyres on. But they don't work as you suggest. The tpms has just deactivated itself. I guess that I will swap them the next time the tyres need changing. James.

    Having said that they don't work, I am pleased to report that the car seems to have magically picked up the sensors in the new wheels and work perfectly. Well done me!
