Looks to me that the DBS is about on equal footing with the 575M, the car the 599 replaced. That would have made a more relevant comparison.
I think it was ~$300k right out of the gate, then adjusted upward as the Euro gained value over the dollar.
269 briefly. +15k early 07, to 285, late 07 added 15k CCB as "standard" and added another 15k bump. Base now 315 ish. Reasonably equipped 599's were about 320-322 (with CCB), now in mid 350 range. Get the 23k paint, or other stuff, staring at 400. Still worth every nickel. PS, Euro didn't gain, dollar plummeted
