    These are two beautiful Italian exotics. They have similar power output and price, but will probably appeal to two different crowds. Given the choice, which would you choose?

    The Lambo looks so mean and aggressive, it's almost scary. In typical Lambo fashion, it's the more extreme of the two.

    The Ferrari on the other hand is more classy and elegant, but still screams power. I can't wait to hear that V12 at its 8400rpm redline!

    I'd take the Ferrari. Given the price of admission, I think it would be a very emotional decision for many, and my soul craves Ferrari. I know some don't like the style of the 599, but I loved it from the moment I saw it.

    The 599 is very much Ferrari, the LP is very much Lamborghini.

    So I´d take the 599.

    599 all the way, i lost my gold necklaces and p0rn actress on the way to the Lambo dealer. Even my chest has fewer -greasy- hairs.

    To be serious, maybe in the states it aint an issue as the curvature of the earth is seen as twisty enough, but on ol' europes back roads, the big Fcars are already too wide and too long for some to play with.
    The lambo is just absurd.
    Also the lambo looks soooooooo dated IMHO that i don't care the 2/10th the lambo will be quicker and the 10 kmh top speed.

    599. It's a more practical car, can be driven to the supermarket for carrots and back before the Lambo even gets out of the driveway, trying not to catch the front end.

    It looks more beautiful than the LP640 does too, IMO.

    Well they are very different cars. Lambo a supercar, whereas 599 is s super GT. I choose lambo, better looking

    Check out EVO magazine. One of their latest mag's covers both of these cars- pretty nice article, has some great pics at least :D

    I'd have to take the LP 640. I like Ferrari's, but the 599 GTB just misses the mark for me. I wish they'd bring back a mid-engine 12 cylinder. An update to my 512 TR would be great!

    Lambo for me too. I love the history of Ferrari and upon reading the Edmunds review it seems like another perfect ride, but the 599 just doesn't get the juices flowing like the LP640 does.

    Out of the 2 card, I prefer the LP640.

    The 599 has great mechanicals and interior, but the exterior is not my taste. I see too many other designs in the 599 (some Corvette, some Lexus, and some 612 -- and I find the 612 hideous looking). I also like the flying buttress design on the rear window area, very trick. I just wish the overall car looked different.

    I'm not a huge fan of the LP640 either, but the overall design is more to my taste.

    Instead of either the LP640 or 599, I'd take a Gallardo and 575. That would be my choice.

    While the 599GTB really does it for me, I too would like to see a mid-engine 12 back in series production.

    Had a Murcie, 599 in a heartbeat. Within 2 seconds of an Enzo at Fiorano..Will make the Murcie feel old.
