It's been said ever since the 599 was released that it was the SWB's brother separated at birth so... How about pictures of these two beautiful, beautiful, beautiful berlinettas together?
For sure the 599 is the modern incarnation of the Daytona, its just so fast and rapid just like the Daytona was of its time. The SWB is small, lightweight, and has the ass the size of a dime. The 599 has big ghetto booty.
The 275 GTB/4 was sold here for> LOT: 327 Estimate: 800.000-1.100.000 Chassis No. 10017 AUCTION RESULTS: Lot was Sold at a price of 1.320.000 CH
I must ask how, I certainly see no resemblance to any of the cars featured in this thread. Having said that Super GT is a pretty sweet motorsport, wasn't there an F430 competing in 2009?
Back to the original subject of this thread. Not one of my better pics but here are the 599 and 250SWB when Dad owned both. Both cars have new homes. 250 pics on this thread http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=152998&highlight=3605GT 599 thread here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=152681 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good to see you (kind of...) again Daytonafan! Did you ever get that 308 you were thinking about so long ago?
I had not considered the 599 to look so similar to the Daytona, but looking at that photo I see it. I really thought the 550/575 was more the successor to the Daytona, but may have to rethink that now... Nice shot btw. PDG
