It's always tanking. I get a fuel sipping 6.7 driven moderately as always. In anger it's about 4.5.
I've got a friends of OPEC decoder ring
I think not so much carbon signature as carbon novel. I did put a hybrid badge off a Saturn on the back. It'll keep my resale up. And my BSD hangs with any on this board. :)
However, if people want to blow smoke up my colon, use better cigars.
    Happy holidays YFF.

Best way to reduce carbon footprint is to have people switch to a better ,healthier diet.
It's one of my pet peeves, especially in very crowded elevators (where you can't tell who did it).....

Anyone know the market on a loaded 2008 599 $365k sticker with less than 2,000 miles would command?

In the current market you could possibly get it for less. A few thousand dollars under sticker. Inventories for the 599 are starting to build up. Check on ebay, autotrader, cars.com or even your local Ferrari dealer and keep a written recorded of those on the market. At the Ferrari of Beverly Hills, they only had 3 599's in October. Currently, they have 6 in stock. Here is an example of one on ebay that is selling about $7k below sticker. Not even close.

The fact that the car has 2,000 miles means it is not new, and that -- at least in this market -- is a hit of at least $65K.

Is any car really worth $32 per mile in depreciation?

If you can afford to buy many, then yes. If you can afford only 1, absolutely not. Buy a vintage Ferrari and a 550 instead.

And then some. Who cares about depreciation? The only way to look at a car's cost is this: i spent "x" dollars on it. that is a 100% sunk cost. if i get back even 10% of that, i'm supremely pleased. oh and i should expect to spend 50% of "x" just owning the car.

life is too short to care about "depreciation" and whatever other nonsense. if youc an't afford it....
