This was driven just prior to the dealer presentation of the 458 on Monday. They had just cleaned the track. Appeared to be very powerful. The car had those black spoilers which looked like the xx spoilers. Difficult to see on the video. We thought an xx testcar or something. It had to brake at the end of the film as it was not allowed to go fast at that part of the track at the time.
I don't know if I'd say case closed. Could easily be a 599M mule of one sort or another. If it was wearing winglets, as was said above, it could be testing with anticipated additional downforce. Speculation, of course.
That would be a near perfect combo, ie, a seriously bad "a" big block Ferrari GT. It would make immediately moot all arguments about the "Cali" or 458 damaging the House of Enzo Note to Luca: Its a simply fantastic idea! Please do it....I'm in for one, and I'm sure a bunch of others that are aficionados of Ferrari would be right behind me...

Color, look, sound...599 GTS or Scud? Absolutely a great idea and something that would bring a smile to any true, red-blooded fan of Ferrari. Can you just imagine downshifting and then blowing by someone with a 12 cyl, lightweight, 675 hp, nasty sounding, GT style car? Crap...nirvana might be closer than you think!
