599XX EVO Numbers

hmm, I haven't got any cars listed as #34 nor #37. The closest I get is #33 & #38. The cars have probably just sold & renumbered, common practice. Would be nice to know which S/N they belong to, though...

 

Anyone recognize this 599XX Evo? It was spotted on a recent media tour of the Tailor Made and Classiche departments. Here's a few photos.

Don't know the car, but the blue seat partially answers a quesion I have long wondered of why don't people spec their cars with Rosso Corsa paint, some sort of tan interior, and then blue seats as a homage to the Ferrari racing GTs of yesteryear.

I actually have also thought how cool it would be for someone to do this as well with their 599 GTO/F12

 

That diffuser is atrocious.

 

Gray interior with the Blue seats might not look too shabby.

#99 looks like rosso fiorano in the picture

but is listed as rosso corsa.

Is it the lighting in the picture? Rosso corsa is lighter looking to me. Correct me if I am wrong.

#37 was the 599XX Evo sold by Ferrari in June 2012 in the charity auction for the Italy earthquake victims. Bought by a California collector for €1.4m. Anybody know the chassis number?

 

The auction car is #512, the date of the earthquake (May 2012). The car's yellow / blue livery are in the colors of the Modena city flag, an additional homage to the car's origins.

 

512 is the race number, not the chassis number (VIN).

Correct. The original quote said "#37 was the 599XX Evo sold by Ferrari in June 2012" and I was correcting the misunderstanding.

Ferrari Fort Lauderdale claim that 169967 is the Geneva Motor Show car, formerly owned by John Elkann, shown by Tom Cabrerizo at Cavallino Classic 2025. 166864 is identical looking, could it have been the car seen at Valencia 2009, demonstrated on track by Marc Gene?

 

This 599XX was hidden by Ferrari during the beginning of the FM.
It was located towards the top of the paddock, set back. I remember one of us coming back and telling us that Ferrari had taken the 599XX out of the hangar where it was hiding.
We have seen the photo of this car #3 but the chassis was unavailable.

Marc Gene was driving the 599 and Lucas Badoer the infamous M Schumacher FXX. It was a wonderful event.

 

I can imagine..

 

I love cars, meet people from everywhere, watching cars on track, and Italian food.

 

There were two different 599xx at Valencia 2009, both with #3. 169967, remained as static presentation car and 170301, was the car driven by Gene.
