I knew about 6 - 8 months ago they were starting work on a 599FXX... didn't know they would drop the F. This car looks awesome. To bad its a client car like the FXX... should have been a GT1 competitor in Le Mans!

Look at the wing on the flying buttress! AMAZING

Is it me, or does the hood look just like the 08 Viper?

the fact is that there's so many modern "HOT" cars that is hard to be "unique" ... unless you do something "weird" --that many times can be a terrible mistake-- i think this car looks FANTASTIC!

IS IT A ONE OFF CUSTOMER CAR OR A NEW FACTORY 599 VARIANT? ANYONE KNOW? WHAT ABOUT THE ENGINE?

It is a customer car which will act as a lesser FXX programme... Only the best clients can get one (like the FXX)

Don't know about the engine yet.. Will find out shortly

Let me rephrase that. It is a Factory 599 Variant which is for the best customers only, like the FXX programme.

    Got it all down:

    Cost: € 1,100,000

The FXX laps Fiorano in 1 minute and 16 seconds, the 599 XX does it in 1 minute and 17 seconds.

Ferrari plans a series of 6 races for the 599 XX in 2010 followed by one final race. If you buy the car your entry in two of those races and the final race is included. Before you’re handed the keys of your brand new car you will get a shakedown in Fiorano by Ferrari drivers. During the racing season you will be trained and coached by professional FIA GT drivers.

How many cars will be built depends entirely on demand. This car is not a replacement for the FXX.
