Fantastic, except the flying-nun winglets. I could probably survive without whatever aero effect they have.
The beauty in form is seen, but not always felt; the beauty in function is felt, but not always seen.
Is that something like a cover on the brake rotors? And why does it say; "AC Fun" on one of the buttons?
Almost looks like a typo where it should of said "AC Fan." I find it weird that a car of that price has label typos. -Ray
I think you are right Ray. It is where a fan switch would be and it's a rotary, probably variable switch. I remember a picture of a 456MGT center console. Right next to the six speed shifter is a badge that says 456MGTA. The A stants for auto of course. These guys are human. It is a little bit of a shame that this should happen on any of their cars. This one in particular. I'm guessing you have heard the stories of Enzos being delivered and promptly sent to the paint shop. And the saying "You buy the engine, the car is thrown in for free."
They're not even "race legal" anywhere except when Ferrari buys the track time....but they are nasty a.. cars with serious purpose. I'd like to know what they can do at the Ring...anybody have any idea?
what's the location of that dealer? Also, in the 3rd picture, what's up with the driver's side front wheel of that car in the background (550/575)? Looks like the wheel is about to fall off the car...
I think it's just the perspective from the wide angle lens, can't imagine a car with camber that bad on a showroom floor.
The dealership is in NYC on Park Ave and 55th. Here's a little about it. http://www.rossoonline.com/Rosso2007/content.aspx?issue=5&page=8
Wow- I work just a few blocks away...I'll have to venture over there when it gets a little warmer out...heck maybe I'll just walk over there on Friday, screw the cold weather-ha! -Andrew
Well, I walked over and the place is closed down. It says it "will be opened soon"- I'll be checking every few weeks
The Park Avenue "showroom" is closed down? That seems very, very weird...is there a remodel or construction going on?
I assume it's being re-modeled...all the ferrari signage is still there and the windows are completely filled in so you can see whats going on in there. I'll walk by every couple of weeks and let you know when it re-opens...
