It was nice to finally meeting some of the f-chatters at Nickey Blaines. I couldn't believe Daniel (Ricambi) was giving away meet & greet pit passes for Lotus!!! -dave (your perception is your reality)
It was great to get everyone together. Good turnout and good time. Thanks to everyone for coming out. Not bad, the informal "raid the bar" worked great as we ended up with own section at Nicky Blaines. Then after Rock Bottom told us a 2 hour wait for dinner, Tillman persauded them to seat us right away after "we'll take 25 people elsewhere". All good, happy hour and dinner with no contracts! Thanks to Daniel at Jack Russell Racing for covering the appetizers and any cash gap. Will post some pics Monday.
It was good to meet the group - we had fun. Unfortunately my brother and I closed with the hotel bar last night so a couple of strategic headache pills have been popped prior to returning to the track...
It was great to meet everyone, I'm glad the party continued to Rock Bottoms since we didn't account for the time change and so we arrived in Indianapolis at 7pm local time, and so we didn't make it to the party until 7:45 or so. Looks like I missed Andreas by a few minutes, yet again!
It was great to put faces to those Fchat screen names, excellent event all. Please post those photos.
I'll leave it to you guys to ID who is who: Thanks Rob for setting this up. Great idea to have it close to the Circle event and in a really cool place. Thanks to Ricambi for picking up some of the bill. Much appreciated! My camera doesn't do well in dark places, but here are pics from Happy Hour at Nicky Blaine's and then dinner at Rock Bottom. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

One of my favorite moments was on Saturday in the circle at the car display when they started up the '68 Indy500 Lotus Turbine car and drove it across the carpet for the concours awards. An Amazing noise! Image Unavailable, Please Login
It was a pleasure to meet you Chris. I went over some old stuff and it was 87, 88, and 89 that I was at Keith Code school. I bet we were there together.
I bet we were. I'm pretty sure i was there in '87. I remember my wife was pregnant and our son was born Oct. '87.
