Bravo Porsche! Although I seriously doubt I'll ever want one, I must tip my hat to this new TT. Just superb. The only sour note is the exhaust note. I'm sure they offer the GT3's exhaust as an option. Porsche are producing the most impressive cars they've ever made, like Ferrari. Thanks for the link, Cavallini
Nice car but spoilt for me by 2 things: Those terrible looking wheels, really they look too awful for words and the lack of any sort of aural stimulation....again its a sensible usable car but even EVO werent overwhelmed by it....perhaps Porsche have become too clinical and sensible?
I'd say this TT is head and shoulder above the 996, in every way, even with the rims which to me are a welcome change though not as beautiful as the classic turbo rims. EVO probably drove the GT3 first which ruined their Porsche appetite for anything other than a CGT. Although I bet they like the Cayman. But ultimately Porsche's are almost always too sensible and clinical for me, especially compared to Italian cars, and of late even Jaguars and Astons. The CGT is the shining exception.
