    We just finished a repaint of Frank's (Ronin's) Lotus here at Specialty Car Craft. He posted about it on his website an hour ago (6/16/11 2:42 P.M.). A positive review is really nice and Frank is well known for being very particular about who works on his car. Here is what he said and some photos of his amazing 663 horsepower Lotus Elise as he was taking it home:

    "Well, all I can say is SCC fu*kin rocks and I will never bring my car anywhere else. They finished my car which needed paint work to the rear clam for stone chips and burnt paint due to a dyno f*ck up tryin' to release the beast...

    Body work, paint and a full detail and the car looks fu*kin amazing, I mean like fu*kin better than new....

    That's easily the coolest looking Elise I've ever seen. A 600+hp Elise has to be an amazing, yet scary drive.

    I drove the car this week.

    As a Lotus owner (of a stock Elise) it was an interesting experience. That much power in a car that light makes it faster than a GT3 Porsche.

    Frank is up on Mulholland Highway quite often on the weekends and is great to talk cars with.

    And Specialty Car Craft with its new shop at 1862 So. La Cienega Blvd. is honored to do the bodywork and paint.

    Yep - definitely heard about his beyond impressive list of Group B cars he's owned in the past.

    That Lotus is something no words can explain!!

    I had the pleasure of meeting Frank at a Super car Sunday meet a few weeks ago. Turns out he lives around the corner from me. He did offer me a ride, I need to take him up on that offer sooner then later. He told me about the lambo wager and it is a great story funny actually. His car is bad ass! Lot of power for such a light car.

    Btw I really can not get why they banned him off L4P. Totally lame if you ask me just as lame as "BullsFTW" on that forum, either way Frank is a great guy to talk with and loads of technical help on the forced induction set ups as well good feed back up on tires and track setup's


    Btw if you really want a kick of story from frank ask him about the old dood driving a black mazda speed Miata missing a rear bumper, omg that was the funniest crap ever.
