    Yes originality is important
    On other hand, some conversions are all OEM parts and only issue is Vin and original provenance of the manual configuration. The parts and configuration are all OEM.

    That is a separate issue viz a viz desirability of manual vs F1

    If it was a Scud I would agree but a high mileage standard F430 will never be collectible. In either case I’m not in it for the value retention or classiche certification. I drive my car and add miles but also take care of it meticulously.
