The mic picked up the exhaust sound beautifully on this monster. You can also hear the turbo spooling which sounds like a jet turbine. Spectacular ride.

I think I remember that car when it was advertised on NSXPrime. $60 K (?)
There was another turbo'd car from Dynomikes (?) that I should have jumped on in the 40's.

    Everyman's McLaren F1.

I liken it to almost Group C engine in a street car. This thing is designed and tested 942 RWHP; but the owner tunes it down to 611 RWHP for street use. The power build from 5000-8000 is other worldly! Not smooth at all like the Veyron, and not as broad a torque curve as a TT Ford GT.

This NSX was Cody's test bed for turbocharging, it was his original LoveFab "shop' car.
Many variants (including compound TT's) were tried, but this format is the one that yielded a massive 920whp.
It's not for the faint of heart even at 600whp......but I think the near-vertical power curve is well, kind of fun!
The main reason for turning down the boost was to save the transmission, 3rd gear gets stripped clean otherwise ;^D

It truly is a supercar on a sportscar budget,

I would love to see this car give a $500,000 car a run for it's money!

Gotta love a good boosted ride!! I just upgraded my 1999 Saab 9-3 with a Big T28 and I can't wait for my JZW tune to come in the mail. Should be well over 300HP/300 ft lb then w/ Green Giant injectors and a 3 bar map sensor. Not like this car but still loads of fun nonetheless!
