    Hi there all, my friend living in Richmond near Williams/No4 Road has a neighbor down the street that just purchased a McLaren F1 through Mercedes. The area is not wealthy, with houses costing roughly $500,000 and the gentleman told the neighbors the car cost $498,000USD. I will try and take photos later this week.
    Also saw a green Murcielago and silver Carrera GT at Jericho Beach on the weekend.

    I've spotted a Mclaren SLR in Steveston close to #4 and Williams and the price mentionned in this topic leads me to believe that it is a SLR, not a Mclaren F1

    Yea, That should be a SLR McLaren, not F1.
    F1 costs something like $1 Million USD.

    Whoops sorry all, correction, it is an SLR, not a McLaren. My buddy mixed it up.

    Right, the car is called Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, it's being built by McLaren in UK.

    The SLR is nice, though an F1 would be much more impressive since it's much rarer.

    Who cares about rarity. The presence of such a car, knowing it has that 627BHP BMW V12 in the golden engine bay is just estonishing enough.

    Yes very nice car... even if just a tiny tad slower than the Carerra GT, the Enzo, and the McLaren F1. :)

    uhh? I dont think you understand. My post was talking about the McLaren F1. Not the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren.

    Yea, Mercedes never used the BMW V12's engines. ;)

    My bad, thought you were talking about the SLR and missed the part about the BMW engine and the gold engine bay. 627hp adn 617hp are quite similar too.
