Remember that little "incident" called the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in 1990?

Well, that pretty much wiped out older Ferraris from the country.

Rosso interior seems to be very popular.
It's amazing how tastes for color combo's varies so much all over the world.

I heard that if you stand in the center of Kuwait City, in 20 minutes you are out of the country. Is that true?

Does anyone know what the sticker/decal on the rear of some of the 360's is? Dealer perhaps? if so which one? It is just inboard of the right tail light, anyone? Also what is interesting is I would have thought it would be hot in Kuwait but most of the 360's do not have challenge grilles!! apparently they don't have heating issues haha

    Hi,

The sticker/decal is for the dealer Al Zayani who took over from Al Baraha.

Yes, it does get hot in Kuwait sometimes up to 50c in the Summer, but I will let the locals tell you if they have any problems!!

Great pics by the way, nice to see so many out and about.

    Regards,
    Phil.

Drove my F430 here in Cairo last summer at temperatures of about 40 degC (104 degF), no overheating issues.

If there is no traffic, it takes about 20 minutes to get out of the urban area plus another 1 hour to get to the border.

With traffic, it would more likely be a 2 hour drive total.

The cars cope very well with the summer heat. I have a 360 without the challenge grille and I drive it everyday in the summer. Temperatures climb above 50 degC in the daytime, but the engine never overheats, even in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic on the highway. The a/c continues to blow nice cold air even in those conditions.

I know some owners in Kuwait who have challenge grilles and they do certainly help keep the engine cooler, but they are not a necessity. More of a nice-to-have if you like the look.

These cars are a lot tougher than many people give them credit for . . .

    Not that I've heard of.

There were some incidents of people having to top up their coolants and reacharge their a/c's.
