612 05 v. 06

I am looking t an 06 which is not a gts or gtc, is there any real difference between an 05 and an 06? Any reason to choose one model year over another?

I understand 07's have some improvements in the transmission is that the case in the 06 as well, or only the 06 GTS or better?

Oh and if anyone knows of (please no links to ebay, autotrader etc . . .)an 06 07 or 08 Blue, silvertstone, or Rubino exterior with a non black, non red interior please PM me.

There is no difference between the '05 and '06. I have heard that there was a software upgrade but I have driven both and they are both smooth as silk shifters.
