I am interested in a 2008 612 with 18K-20K miles equipped with the HGTC package. Just want to get some advice on what you think is a fair market price these days? Does it still go down by 10K / yr in depreciation? Thanks.

Adding info from the pics I saw, has premium sound and daytona seats. Does NOT have heated seats.

I'm posting here because we shouldn't hijack Bob's thread.

I would be concerned about that "as is" statement in the listing. I would offer at least $10,000 less, if not more, to take care of the repairs you will need to do.

At least $10K more from the $130K or the listed $138K?
I do not intend to offend anyone...we can continue on Bob's thread.....

I agree with Bob, at $130K it's overpriced. Heck, you could buy his for $36K less! Grab it while you can!

I don't really care if my thread is used or this one is, but I appreciate the thought, Paul. Okay with me either way.

Aww100, it doesn't take much to rack up a $10k bill. I had a minor leak in my F1 actuator when I bought mine, opted to have it fixed rather than monitoring because it isn't worth the risk to run low or overfill the F1 system topping off every several months Cost $2000 to get to a $5 gasket. I also needed tie rods. Bet dollars to doughnuts at 18k miles, yours will, too. They're over a grand a piece before labor. With one owner, who the hell knows, you don't even know for certain a belt change has ever been performed. Wouldn't count on it. $3k there. **** adds up. I did all this and more on mine last year, spent about the $10k Paul threw out there.

I got the Dec 2013 service records. Cam belt changed. Got a face lift on the leather on the dashboard and other services. A cool $11K bill. PPI will show. Let's hope all checked out. If not, the search continues.....

If you buy the car, make sure you get a hard copy of each service record so that you can have a complete service history... makes the car more valuable... especially as it gets older.

PPI checked out ok. Clutch shows 36% wear and brake 29%.
Only the interior stinks a bit hopefully after detailing the smell will be gone.

One more piece of doubt. I used a paint meter today and found 5-5.5 on the hood, 6.-6.5 on side fenders, 8-8.5 on the back. This is an Out of Range paint Blu Scozia so I don't know if it's because of the out sourced shop's works are not consistent. I checked all service records and they just stated the car is blue. No documents or window sticker states it's actually a blu scozia or blue pozzi. Help!

There is a paint sticker on the car that tells the color. The window sticker tells you it has $10K worth of custom paint that was painted by hand. Some variation is to be expected.

Call a ferrari dealer and beg to get the "build sheet". They can and do give them to people...but I think "officially" they are not supposed to...so ask nicely or better yet do so at a dealer you do business with already or will do business. The Build sheet will detail all colors and options...it only takes the service guy a few minutes to print it out (he will need the VIN). He can also tell you the warranty and campaign history.

Thank you. I called another dealer whom I never do business with and the sales person looked it up for me and the color is Blu Scozia. I didn't ask for a copy but he was nice enough to look it up and went through the options with me. The only comment he had was the interior two-tone beige color was "a bit strange".....

It is, but it doesn't clash. I have two tone beige in my Gran Turismo and iy works well. I like that 612 interior more than my own.

Blu Scozia? Never heard of it...anyone heard of that?

The two-tone is a "bit strange". Certainly rare anyways...

Hope this color combo will maintain good resale value some day.
Just found out...the dealer sent the car to an auction while we were negotiating now there is a remark in Autocheck indicating the car was reported at an auction. This could affect the value of the car. Trying to ask the dealer to remove it.....

Meh, no big deal. I really don't think it'll affect resale later. But I hate it when dirtbags sell cars out from under us. I had that happen with a Cayenne last year. We had a deal and the guy went dark on me the next morning. Found out a few hours later it was sold out from under me. Worked out well, ended up getting a better car elsewhere but I was pissed. You sure they even pulled it out of the auction? You're papered?
