Any way it failed. I was thinking for weeks the complex spring loaded mechanism would pop back in to place inside the switch, it never did. I was finding 612 original new old stock switches for 4, 5 hundred dollars, even 1K ish with the headlamp switch. Spotted this title on ebay, FERRARI Portofino GTC4 Lusso / T 812 SF Mirror Switch # 319552 mailed the seller asking if it was stamped PA66-GF30 Sylea in the plastic on the back, it was so I bought it and fitted it. Paid £131.00, it works fine but the knurled section around the switch is not as good qualityas the original and there are some small mounting lugs missing from the new switch which were spaced out with washers. Kudos to brogenville as the shared WSM showed me where to pull to pop out the switch panel (top right for RHD). Here is the inside of the old switch to convince others it ain't going to magically fix The moulded plastic at the back end of the control stick has become brittle and shattered.

Anyone got any info for 612 Steel front Discs ? Some mentions of Subaru WRX front discs fitting on other threats but would be interested to know if anyone has found a comparable 345x32 Disc that fits?
I thought I would add my recent experience with my shocks on my 2008 612 OTO. I had to replace my shocks and the best price I could find for new ones was $9700 (plus taxes and shipping, unknown amount) from Eurospares. I found a place in the Netherlands (Madeno Racing) who would rebuild them with a 2 year guarantee. Their complete price including shipping back and forth was $4532. Like Robert (Admiral Goodwrench) at my age I am reluctant to even buy green bananas. So I figured it was worth the risk to get them rebuilt knowing they might not last as long as new ones. I've done several hundred miles on them so far and they perform like new.
