    For you 612 manual owners.
Can you tell me how much of a reach to row the gears?
Is the clutch stiff? Is the take up (engagement) on the clutch towards the top or the bottom of the pedal travel? Is it easy to modulate or does it grab abruptly?
Also does the shifter easily take the gears or does it jam up or balk?
I am 6' 1" and love the ergonomics of my 997 c4s in terms of reaching for the shifter, arms length to the steering wheel and legs completely stretched out. Shifter is great with the exception of balking 2 to 3 sometimes.
Can anyone please give input? please include height for reference.

Question for TAZ. Can this also be referenced to 575 owners in terms of clutch engagement, and stiffness?

    Thanks Eddy

Eddy- All the shifter parts, clutch, and gear ratios are identical to the 550 and 575M, so she will shift just like one of those cars.

I am 5'7 and have no problems whatsoever... The clutch is not very stiff and is somewhat smooth to grab. The shifting itself is a bit different than other cars, but my wife and I got used to it rather quickly.

I have both, 575M 6-speed and 612 6-speed, they are pretty much identical. I jump between the cars all the time with no issues for readjusting my shifting or clutch thinking.
