612 Becker Radio no sound!

I have a 2007 612 with the Becker radio and CD changer. For some reason, the radio suddenly has no sound. I have no problems playing CDs but for some reason, the radio which seems to work as in you can see from the display the radio channels has no sound. Wondering if anyone has had this problem before. My rear defrost doesn't seem to work which I recently noticed. Not sure if that is related. As you might have seen from another post, I'm looking into the new Clarion double din system that's now being offered but if the radio sound is a quick fix, would stick with the factory system.
