Yes there is, my recommendation is to sit the car for an hour fiddling with the system (I did with my 09 OTO), the owners manual is not that intuitive. Once you get the logic of the grouping of functions (which leaves much to be desired) it makes a bit more sense. Maranello needs some nerds fer sure!

Yes that's exactly what I finalyy did- I navigated through all the menus to familiarize myself with the head unit on this system, and still no luck. I have found that the outer knob on the left will give me front only speakers, rear only, and a preset mix of both that is so heavily front weighted, that it's almost as if the rear doesn't exist.

If there's an adjustment to fade front to rear, I'd love to know… Thanks

Eric- At least you know when you get back you have 12 cylinders worth of heat waitin' on you--- Stay warm for now ;)

Eric- Ferrari's 12 cylinders make a lot of heat. At least you know when you get back you have that waitin' on you--- Stay warm for now ;)

Yes, balance and fader can be adjusted - will post pictures to show how to each the menu.

From memory it is under "Settings"

I can't seem to find the iPod connector on my 599 GTB -I have a BOSE system, did all the BOSE units come with these?

    Thanks

Moe - to adjust fader, push the right bottom button with the three lines on it.

Turn the OUTSIDE right knob to "Audio Options", then turn the right knob to fader.

360 - They did not, you had to have the iPod Ferrari option. I tried to retrofit it by buying the factory ferrari module and had my audio guy install it but the vehicle requires a new proxi file from the dealer in order to recognize it so I am stuck until I can get my car to the dealer (3 hours away). :((

I also think the 599 Bose system and the 612 Bose system are not the same. I could be wrong, though.

I always thought the iPod connector was a option but might be wrong on the 599,I know it's listed as one on my 612

It was definitely an option on the 612. In hindsight, I regret ordering it, although it did work well with the classic iPod!

These guys above mentioned this item and it was a Great selection on their part. Obviously they were more proactive about this subject.

For about 80 bucks, you really can't go wrong because the factory iPod connection plug of the time is the old style 30 pin connector from the iPhone 4 days and the tune2air plugs right onto it and sends you wireless, making current iPhones worthwhile with our cars

    - The iPhone music functions are reflected on the car's screen

I'm reasonably Good with techy stuff, but having explored the menus and overlooking some of the obvious buttons/knobs that were right in my face, I didn't even recognize how to pair my phone with this car

Now with the Tune2air and a lil help from the community here, I feel like I have most of the versatility I enjoy in my current daily driver and I'm Grateful for the guidance here- The tune2air seems like a must for any of us with the iPod connection

And I'm very thankful to the help from Eric and the other guys above for introducing me to this item and for the assistance in pairing my phone and radio head unit functionality

I'm away from my car at the moment, but I'm looking forward to the explanation on the fader that was explained as well- I been pretty deficient & missing the obvious using this radio. The experience with it has somehow more laughable than intuitive for me -but the guys here and Tune2air have helped significantly- if that answers the question

A car without a competent radio is a big downer- Thanks to All on this thread for the input
