    Oh my, ….
My ‘09 612 OTO is again testing my love for it.
It’s back to a top-line dealership for annual servicing and changing its PS-4S’s for winter SottoZero’s. We spent a lot of time last spring recovering from coolant change problems, but since then the car has been magnificent. Only issue/concern is its occasional Upshift jump into Neutral - usually when still warming and/or at low RPM. Readings on the clutch two years ago were 43% and last year 45.5% worn. I’ve added 4k of its 34k miles in two years, usually in F1S & Comfort modes, and local/highway cruising - fun, spirited, but hardly ‘hard’.
At its post-service road-test, however, the car could only ‘limp’ back to the shop and now it won’t even start! I’m told the car is sensing the clutch wear is 100%! and F1/ECU safety-mechanisms are preventing engine start.
How do we tell - Were prior measurement readings wrong?; Are current clutch operation sensings wrong?
Do you all have any suggestions on what’s happened?; What to check or replace?; Chicago F-car dealerships / shops / wizards?
Many thanks for your thoughts & opinions.

Sounds more like your F1 system needs servicing including fluid change, bleed, leak check, and self-test. Should be done every 3 years.

    Thank you Terry.
I appreciate your advice here - and all the other postings, info, suggestions you provide.

I didn't intend to go radio-silent; rather, was waiting for the dealership shop to finish up its work and reporting.
I've got the car back and it all works well. No jumping to Neutral at all. But ... I am not quite satisfied: not sure exactly where I'm at, nor how I got here, re the clutch performance and wear readings change.

The F1 fluid was changed, bled, checked two years ago. It was all OK just now.
The self-learn tests told the car it was above the clutch-wear threshold, preventing engine start. They used SD3 scanned parameters from another 612, which got the car started. The lowest wear-reading that allowed the car to start was 78.2%. (A year ago they told me it was 45.5%.)
I am having another F-dealer shop take their own look now - verifying the F1 fluid, actuator function, getting their own reading, doing a gear-grid(?) test. I am hoping we can get a scope into the car, but they seem hesitant that can help.

    Thanks to all.
