Hi I’m new to Ferrari, and have an 08 OTO. I was wondering if Ferrari ever offered an aluminum dead pedal for these? Mine is just black vinyl over the dead pedal
    Thanks
    Mike

My 2010 OTO has a boatload of interior enhancements, with substitute materials all over the place, But it doesn't have an aluminum dead pedal. So I'm guessing that such an enhancement was not offered. Having gone out on a limb, I expect that someone else will pop up with a photo of one in his car.

Probably the closest solution would be a 599 GTO dead pedal (https://www.ricambiamerica.com/82926100-driver-side-footrest.html) We don't keep those in stock, BTW...

The problem with the stupid rubber slab on the 612/599 (including the OTO cars) is that Ferrari considered the rubber slab to be integral to the larger wrap-around carpet piece. I think the rubber was glued on there and not easily removable.

If it were me (and it's not!) I'd reach out to Ultimate Pedals and just give them the measurements for a flat slab. Don't screw around with angles, curves, wrap around, etc. Just a flat slab of nice drilled aluminum and you'd be in good shape.

Good call. I have a GTO pedal and it doesn't fit in a way you want. I bought it with that in mind but it is a swing and a miss.
