    Hello Gents,
I've been accessing my OBD2 port while troubleshooting an alarm siren issue (it's dead...) and have noticed a wiring plug that is hanging freely and not plugged-in to anything. It's lead is wrapped-around another wiring plug that is protected by a removable plastic cover (please see my pics). Could anybody here tell me what these wiring plugs are for. My 2006 car is running fine with no faults (besides the alarm siren).

Also, this one has me a bit worried. I've found what looks to be evidence of corrosion (see pic) inside of my driver's (LHD) door, where the rear end of the door skin is crimped around the metal door structure. The right door is not similarly affected and I don't see anything like this anywhere else on the car. Has anybody else here seen this before? Thank you.
