I mean, like a good-looking fast hermit crab.

    Agree?

I very much like the metaphor you are proposing: a gentle shell on the outside with a vicious beast inside.

Heh! - given what happened to the frog thread, thank goodness you did not say this about a 599 if you know what I mean - phew....

    LMAO - Hee hee

We should start a thread about the value of hermit crabs and frogs...

i'll spearhead it, too. so we can just repeat the whole frog experience again since it was such a smash hit ;)

I dislike the car and would take a 456 over it any day. You pay for the improved handling with styling. With the 599, they managed to make the new longer noses look good. They didn't with the 612 in my opinion. The nose just looks too long.

The 456 is a great car. But the Pininfarina 456 "shooting breaks" or "estate cars" make the regular 456 look like an "ugly duckling", but it wouldn't be the same car to drive......

On the road the 612 has real presence in addition to its performance.

Perhaps the different look of the 612 Sessanta will give it a more appealing style.........??

Yeah, I love the 612 - but as BF said that version is not attractive.

Bonzelite - I appreciate the offer, but maybe we should stay clear of frogs for now....

    Onwards & upwards...

I think the styling of the 612 really grows on you. Especially depending on color. Plus the interior is gorgeous and no offense to the 456 guys but in terms of driving it is a world apart.

I would LOVE to own one. It looks amazing to me with the right color, interior, wheels, etc. It is an amazing car to drive AND I can take my kids
and still be driving an F car. I can't tell you how many time the kids want to take a ride in the 430 and I have to say "NO YOU CANT SHARE THE SEAT"
