When I first saw the 612 i wasnt sure. But the more I see it the more I agree that it certainly makes a great replacement to the 456. If I had the money i'd buy one.
Like with the 456 GT, it doesnt look as good in Red.. I prefer the darker colours like Titanium and Blue. Love the noise it makes. Needs something louder though...!!!!!! ;-) Jaz.
Having the money to buy one is not the problem its how much money it loses in a year thats the problem
612- what a car. Didn't like it at launch but I really love it now... funny how that always happens with a new Ferrari for me now. I thought that was one of the best Top Gear shows ever.
Still can't get to grips with the frontal view. It's big "face" looks like it should be on "Bob the Builder"!
That F1 car at the end was superb. Full credit to the Stig for driving it. Wonder how fast the proper driver(forgot his name) would have got round though
If I could afford 170K on a car then I could live with the depreciation. Beside Im the type of guy who would keep a car like that for at least 3 years, so long term depreciation wouldnt be myh biggest worry.
Stig didn't drive it. It was driven by Heikki Kovalainen, the guy that won the Race of Champions in Paris. Kovalainen is managed by Renault and is probably running in GP 2 next year.
Anyway of getting a clip of this program? I love the 612 and would like to have a look at this program as I do not live in UK. I agree that red is not suitable for 612 silver and blue are the best colours IMHO.
A DB9 wins to Monte and now the 612 beats public transport (all varieties) to some Swiss ski resort. What more proof does Prescott and all his other cronies need that cars are king! (well certain ones anyway) BTW in August went to Toulon, south of France, couldn't drive or fly so took the train. Sussex to Toulon ONE WAY £265!
It still get me mad! When I worked in London, it was cheaper for me to drive my F355 from home (East Yorks) to Chiswick, than it was to get the train from Hull to Kings Cross. It was also quicker, taking into account connections etc....and having to get someone to get me to the station at 7am. Couldn't watch films on my laptop in the car though. That said Soundtrack in the car was better! This is the big problem. If trains were cheap, people would use them. It is working for flights! If Mr Fiat Punto can drive his car to London for a tenth of the train fare....he will!!!!!! Especially if it is cheaper to drive from a to b even in a FERRARI!!!!!!!!! Prescott, you live in Hull....Do I need to come round your house and spell this out?????? As for Top Gear....Loved it. Miss my Ferrari more than ever and am at Macari's in the morning. That has never been a good combination in my books! We were talking about 550s the other day. That whole GT car/Gumball thing. Love the car, the engine and the sound. I fit in it too, which is a bonus! Does anyone else think the wheels look a bit small? Ed

well... ok that looks pretty good lol but i still stand by my point that GT cars just look genraly better in blues/grays/silvers/black trust me, i'm a designer
