    Saw this exquisite specimen at Ferrari of Atlanta today; what a day and time to go, too - the owner was THERE, ready to pick it up... i was able to take a few pictures before he left with it... i even had the pleasure to being introduced to him; he said it's the best Ferrari he's had so far... i asked him if, even for such a big car, did it handle well; he said very well... It's very fast; positive comments were made about the acceleration and the deceleration... It was really nice to see this car - it's the 4th or 5th one i've seen now and there's no more deciding to be made - the 612 is definitely a HUGE step up from the 456... Granted, it's bigger than any Ferrari i've ever seen before, but it's beautifully sculpted anc complimented by a plush interior; definitely a 'gentleman's' car - it's like a 550 with 4 seats...

    ...oh, and it looks AWESOME in black... :)

    I saw a couple of 612s in Europe a few weeks ago. They both were in light colors, which were unflattering to the car. I must say, the black color gives the 612 a different persona.
    Good job with pics!!!! The rear looks doesn't seem so ungainly in black, and in the shots you took, the smiley face fascia isn't as dominating as when I saw them. I still miss the coke bottle shapes of the past....

    A good nickname for that car would be "The Blob". It's not that it's ugly, it's just so..... blah.

    Widdlewade, when i first got there, i saw the rear of the car first and thought it was a 550/575 - it's very understated and looks similar to that of the Maranello... Although it's HUGE and not really a "sports" car in the sense of the word we usually think of, it's still beautiful and, from the mouths of other people, a great car to drive...


    Eric, no, no ride; contrary to popular belief, i've never asked anyone for a ride in a car - except for one friend who plans to be financially able enough to buy an NNO in a few years - we're close enough where i could just come out and ask him... :)

    That is a amazing automobile. Looks much better in black than the funky purple/red color or the orginal pics in that ocean blue color. That is one of the most beautiful ferraris ever created. Holy moly. Great Pics.

    I guess who ever does not like the 612, must be still living in the past. I think the car looks beautiful compared to its predecessors, especially the 456, which reminded me of a bigger and more expensive version of a ford probe. I think the 612 is big step forward in designing a car which will give you the performance close to a Modena, but at the same time can be driven everyday, and when I mean everyday, I am talking about being comfortable when driving the car. The 612 reminds me of the old mid engine Ferrari's and I am sure that is what most of you want, but in this case most you feel Ferrari did not accomplish that. I'm sure Ferrari could of jumped on the band wagon and followed the retro design philosophy like everybody else. But then again this is Ferrari and they are not like everybody else, thats why we love their cars.

    I must admit that it looks good in black. I don't like the 612 in other colors, but especially the front is much better in black.

    The black 612 would look even more perfect with black-powdercoated wheels! Can someone do a photoshop? This car is gorgeous.

    The front is just not the strong point of that design. I think it looks great from the sides and the rear, almost a blend of 575/456.

    Looks great far better then the 456 ever did inside and out. Performance is great for a car of its size and caliber. I love it...
