612 standard or Daytona seats???

I don't know about the numbers. I have Daytona seats in mine, and really like the way they look-- and I find them comfortable even for long drives. I think some will tell you the standard seats are more comfortable, and that might be true (never done a long drive with standard seats), but the Daytonas are certainly fine, and as I said, look great.

 

I guess I'm a traditionalist, so I definitely prefer the Daytona Seats with the optional stripes and / or piping.

I think it's down to personal taste - I have the standard seats and they are pretty comfortable.

Only watch out would be on piping, I have seen cars with worn piping, worth checking / negotiating if you are buying a 612

 

Same here. I have Daytonas and very happy with it in the 612. I used to own an F430 with Daytonas but wasn't very happy with them in that car. Should have taken the race seats in the F430.

 

I have piping on mine. I suppose it can be worn, but I think it really goes well with the seats.

 

I agree - also prefer the racing seats in the mid-engine cars.

 

DD- Find the best 612 you can and take whatever seats she comes with. Some of them even had diamond stitching.

 

The diamond stitching is really nice as well! I still prefer the Daytonas, though.
