How old are you? With what I know about younger people, I would say you instant message your friends a lot and it has taken away the desire or ability for you to type properly.

To answer your question, neither of the cars are junk. If he like one over the other, that's the one he should buy. If he is truly concerned about the reliability of either car he shouldn't be asking a child.

Come on Vik...it seems your dad doesnt give two hoots about cars so if he wants a nice daily driver without seeming ostentatious he should stick to a Benz or a luxury SUV or something that doesnt cost $200k.

Porsche Cayman - real sports car, not stupidly expensive/ostentatious. Very nice, incredibly fun to drive, reliable, etc. If snow is an issue, an Audi TT quattro is a cool sporty car, or the BMW 335Xi.

The DB9 and 612 scream MONEY!!! like few other cars on the planet. I can't think of two worse choices for someone trying not to look ostentatious and as a backup car to a Bentley and a Tahoe.

And I have to agree with some of the comments above. It seems odd that a wildly successful adult would ask their kid to post on an Internet chat board to decide which $200K car to buy. You should know this as 'a mature auto broker' (from your profile).
