    Hey. Got a crack in my windscreen/shield. I live in Dubai. No insurance here for it so got to fork out myself. Does anyone know where I can get a used one. The usual places have not turned one up. Best price quoted new is $2800 plus shipping. I get a good rate with Fedex so I can ship cheaply. Thanks. Sean.

    Just be careful that it comes with the gasket as these are not sold separately and not sure you can re-purpose the old one. Maybe someone else with experience with this can chime in.

    Eurospares had a 612 they were breaking down for parts (flood damage) - so you could check with them.

    I was able to source mine from last year from http://besteteile24.de, which came with gaskets as required see attachments. I see that it is no longer listed on their site, but get in touch with them and maybe they can source it for you. They also have an eBay store. I had a bit of a headache with payment/shipping and finally had to do the transaction through a friend in Austria but when it finally arrived and fit, it was worth it.
