Ive found a car im interested in purchasing but I've never sat in a Mondial.

I'd love to meet up with a current owner (coupe preferred) so that I could sit in your car to see how it feels and chat about Mondial ownership.

The car im interested in is an '85 model (not sure if that makes a difference).

Im 6'6", 36" pant length, size 16 shoe. Pretty evenly proportioned.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have size 10 feet and have to use very narrow Puma laced shoes.

I have a set of Pumas that i've saved from back when they still made them in my size just for driving cars with tight footwells :)

I am 6/215 and wear size 12’s. Plenty of room in there, and my feet are fine with whatever shoe choice. 6” more should fit, but I hope you find someone to let you try it out.

I’m 6’3 275 lbs and fit very comfortably in my former 86 Mondial coupe. Also have size 13 4w feet didn’t have a problem when wearing sneakers but moved it one day when I had work boots on and that wouldn’t work out too well driving with the boots.

Remove the drivers seat and use the rear seat, you will have lots of room

Longer and/or lower seat runners and you'll be golden. You'll be amazed how much extra space 2 inch longer seat runners buys you.

Unless the car was equipped with spacers, the seat runners cannot be lowered without cutting the chassis.

I am 6'5" 200 lbs with 36" inseam and am very comfortable in my 83 Mondial Coupe. The tilt / telescopic steering allows plenty of knee space and I have about 2" excess headroom. My size 12 feet are a bit challenging clearing the brake to press the throttle, but it's workable.

I am 6'4 and about 230 lb, I bought my Mondial because I wouldn't fit in a 308 or 328, I put a 1-in extension on the steering wheel and raised the seats one inch with spacers, my size 13 ft fit fine in the footwell with the proper shoes. I think I could wear a cowboy hat in my car. I have that much headroom in my cabriolet.
