What, did this event just formalize today? A little more lead time would have been appreciated! I'm sure many of us have already set plans for this weekend; as I have done. If this is a 'Toys For Tots' event, I will try and make it if preset plans fall through. I've been involved in many 'Toys For Tots' campaigns over the years, and find it to be a very worthy cause.

Toys For kids Cruise night will be October 2, 2007 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM At Toyota Park 71st & Harlem Our Rain Date Will Be October 9, 2007 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM This Will Be A Cruise Night Trophies Will Be Awarded We Are Asking All Car Show People To Bring A New Toy Unwrapped. We will have the Bridgeview Fire Department There to pick up the Toys in the Fire trucks. We Will Also Have the Bridgeview Police Department and the Mayor from Bridgeview. We Will Also Have A Police Dog Demonstration on How He Assist The Police. VFW Will Be On Site from Post 9773 Home Town D.J. Mike Music For All Occasions Will Be Doing The MC And Music. Santa Clause Will Be There Candy Will Be Given To All Who Attend Also The Six Flags Great America Old Man Impersonator Will Also Be On Site. There Will Be Food & Drink On Site Bring Your Cameras and a Smile For This Good Will Program
I'm like Carla, as I hear or read about various upcoming events, I post them as I can. Some I hear at the last minute like this Rally in Lake Geneva while the Barrington Concours my sister told me about it several months earlier.
I think its great folks are posting events. If it was not for these posting I would never hear of any of these shows! Anyway, my social life is so pathetic posting a show on Wednesday for Saturday will usually work for me!
