Kudos to JoeT for being a big sponsor of this event. Last year he arranged to have a Ferrari F1 (2001) car for us to drool over. And big thanks to Chuck1 for working to make this a great event.
Chuck it is on my calendar. Most probably going to come. I got rained out in the Barchetta too many times to count but now with the Scud...it has a top!!! See you there. Jon
Guys, Thanks for the post! This event is getting bigger and better each year. Again Bridgestone will be displaying a Ferrari F1 car, Pirelli will have another gorgeous model there, plus the Michelin Man will again entertain children and/or the child in all of us. All the major Tire Manufactures (Goodyear, Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli, Yokohama and Falken) will have their representatives at the Mr. Tire tents for any questions you may have. Door prize bags to the first 1,000 people who stop by and say hello. The Best part is it's All for a great cause! Let's all bring out these works of art that we are fortunate to own and share them with all of those that may still have them in their dreams! Looking forward to seeing you all there! Thanks, JT
I'm in. The online registration form worked great. This event is always a good time. One piece of advice from last year: if you're going to stay after hours and visit with folks in the bars, be sure to re-park your car parallel to the curb before the road blocks get removed. It was crazy watching the late-afternoon downtown Baltimore traffic try to weave around a few left-over Ferraris that were parked diagonally sticking out from the curb.
Hey Toggie, I understand what you're saying. My company installed the barriers and we were required to pick them up right after the event. This year however we will be near the Rusty Scupper near Federal Hill/Inner Harbor. I don't think parking is going to be an issue? We will be in/on Rash Field I believe. Maybe Chuck can elaborate on the set up?
VIVA ITALIA has moved to a new location. Located on the south shore of Baltimore's Inner Harbor near the Maryland Science Center and the Ritz Carlton , Rash Field offers less traffic for registered cars entering the event and 24 hour security due to the fact that we have partnered with Trawler Fest which is a three day event.

I registered yesterday, can't wait for this awesome event....have done it the past four years straight!
Michael, Probably going to run down for the day although I won't be showing my car. It has just gotten to be too expensive for me. I love to go and shoot pics, but if I take Josh, it's $150 . I know it's for a good cause and everything, but I just don't have the spare cash. Let me know your plans. I would like o go pretty early, because of the boats , parking will probably be bad. Bob
I just spoke with Chuck and he said over 60 cars registered. Registration still open so probably a few more by gametime.
Hey bud, I'll be there.. I'm bringin' the 328. It seems the starting issue has corrected itself again. I got in the car the other day and it just fired right up?? It must be the aftermarket alam??
George, If the weather holds I'll probably be goin down by myself fairly early to take some pix. I won't be taking the Ferrari. Goin to C&C tomorrow? Give me a call early(by 7 ) if you want to go up the back way.
Bring my car to my house to dress it up a bit for Viva Italia.......................................and it starts pissing rain. Hasn't rained in 14 days. Unreal, Un-freaking real.
Just got back. They did a a great job up there and the lunch spread was damned impressive. The rain sucked but it finally let up. Great to drive up with Norm (thanks for giving my mom a ride in your 430), saw Nate, gnbn and of course Matt Brown, no wait, that's me, Jim Brown, no wait (inside joke)... Some cool cars. Next year it better be sunny. MB
Hey Matt.... There's a vespa from the auction waiting to be picked up with your name on it.... hope you like it! It was only $1500.00. I told them you were good for it.
I wanted to thank everyone for supporting the Children's Guild VIVA Italia. I understand it is tough to bring the cars out in the bad morning weather but it was a great time. Thanks to Spencer for the great pictures and coming out in the weather. I want to especially thank Joe T for his generous support. Whay can I say but you guys are great Chuck
