    Hmmm...I dont know - a S2 that needs work might be 25K. For me, if it gets 40K, I think I could get 60K for mine...and I'll sell for that!

    Prices for the XKE are high right now (insanely high, it seems to me).

    I was assuming that the 36,xxx miles were actual and could be proven or at least are evident in the condition of the car.

    I would say the 36,xxx is probably right. I know I have 38,xxx on mine - all original. The car sat for a long time, and is virtually a baby in that regard.

    I noticed the same. E-Types, Dino 246s and early 911s seem to be in demand at the moment. I don't know if it's market insanity or a realization that these cars were the end of the classic era for sports cars (before 1974 bumper and smog regs changed everything).
