I wouldn't be surprised if the 375 MM had a few more centimeters than the 508B, 508C or 508D chassis (see the red marks on the pics I took) but yes, should be the same 2.600 mm wheelbase...

Thanks Cyril. The blue car feels so much longer than a TdF up close. I always thought it was because of the two colors, but your analysis does suggest that it is longer.

Up close it looks to me bigger all round. Longer, wider, taller, and all round more brutish. I think it looks like a TdF on steroids! The TdF looks sleeker I think, but I really like the Bao Dai car. I like the two tone colour scheme too.

    Hello,

Is there anybody going to Techno Classica in Essen, Germany this week-end ? I would be nice to see some pictures of this Ferrari 70th anniversary celebration...

It is not. Altough there were plenty of Ferrari's on display (288 GTO, 212F1, a few Vignales, F50 and so on), I noticed there were quite a few Challenge/racecars on display.

Got an e-mail about the Tour Auto in France:

Ferrari East West Europe & Africa has chosen the Tour Auto Optic 2000 for the first French event to celebrate the company's 70th anniversary and present the Ferrari 812 Superfast. The very exclusive LaFerrari Aperta, the car that represents the 70th anniversary, will also star on the stand.

The Grand Palais is the perfect place to host Ferrari’s 70th anniversary celebrations and to show the exceptional performance of the new Cavalino Rampante V12.

We are looking forward to seeing you on the 24th April at 14.00 for the press conference to discover the LaFerrari Aperta and the 812 Superfast which will be lined up with some of their glorious forebears.

Unfortunately, today during the Cavalcade Classic, in heavy rain near Lucca, an fchatter damaged his 288 GTO (front). Very sorry to hear this. Fortunately nobody was hurt.
