Hi, My name is Marco, this is my first comment here. I am not a Ferrari owner, but i am a tifosi. My hobby is car photography and i write a Ferrari themed blog. I would like to travel to Maranello because of the 70th Anniversary event. I would like to ask your help. I can spend only one day there and i have red that most of the events will be private and closed. What do you think, which day would be better to spend in Maranello, when can i see more Ferraris on the streets, on Saturday or Sunday? Thank you for your help! Best regards from Hungary, Marco

Thank you so much for sharing, TheL! I sincerely appreciate that. Do you or anyone else happen to have any of the details for the afternoon/evening of September 8th when the rallies from the different cities meet up in Milan? In particular, I'm really interested in the full day event schedule for September 8th for the 70th Anniversary Rome rally departing that day from Fortei dei Marmi that stops for lunch in Grazzano Visconti before arriving in Milan since I will be following that route myself after landing that day in Rome.
This is the only information I have: 18.30 Arrival in Milan, Ferraris will be on display in the city center Shuttle service to the hotel 20.30 Shuttle transfer to the gala dinner at Hangar Bicocca
Thank you for your information! I booked a hotel in Modena these days. I hope I will see some of these cars arriving in Maranello. I'm very excited!
I have been driving these cars and going to Maranello and the factory since the '80s. I have made lifelong friends in and around the town. It was very special (and quaint). The last time I went was in 2011 and it is just a commercial tourist trap now. The 'tour' was a joke compared to back in the day. Depending on how you 'got on' with your guide, you could expect something special. Now, it's just pump 'em through and lead the punters to the Ferrari store. It's very disappointing.... but all they seem to be about these days is removing as much money as possible from the wallets of whomever will open them. And they are very, very good at it. They are on a roll making some great performance cars. I will give them that.
