Thx for the likes, all - I'm still 'taking it all in' myself...glad for the opportunity to be a caretaker. Would like to add a Marcel Massini report to my documentation.

For starters add the Dino Compendium from Mathias Bartz, they may be sold out but worth a try..... Germandino on here.

What items are missing, books tools etc. If you list out what you have then there are loads of guys who can help

    Congratulations!
The Matthias Bartz report is what you want.
It has all the Massini details, all from Bartz Ferrari factory archives visits, andt also all club owners info too and Bartz costs less.
Bartz hosts the German Dino club with number one EU trip for only Dinos every year

Try to watch your fuel lines with new petrol E85 mix as it can eat them in 2 years

    Tool kit looks good.

Now, wrap it up loosely, put it your gun vault along with the original books; buy some decent tools from Lowe’s to keep in the car.

Oh, and never, ever, under any circumstances, use the original jack. Put it in the gun vault as well.

While we are at it, don’t touch the vent window latches. Better to not even look at them.

Oh, and get a Halon extinguisher. These old heaps are always only one spark away from auto-flambé.

The early style tool pouch is correct for that chassis number. The switch to the smoother dark brown vinyl pouch was from mid '72 production onwards and #03362 is a February '72 build. I restored #04054 which had the same early type tool pouch from new and was a May '72 build.

so it could be a transition time where both could be correct depending on stock.

No to number 1 no good for the Dino.

Plenty of options available to you depends what you want to do, i have tried a few but settled with the Winterburn module. Works well and retains the points set up, if you want to get rid of those then the Bosch modification is a option. Search on this forum for the conversion by daviek

You can try to email or contact him via DM/PM through this site, but might need to make a one or a few more post to gain that ability (I think 10 posts is or used to be required minimum).

Congratulations on a cool car !

Re: Correct tool kit pouch material.
There’s no need to really worry about it unless you’re attempting to get the car judged by IAC/PFA guidelines and need/want the brownie points or until you’re attempting to sell the car to someone who’s worried about such frivolous details.
Having one, the other or none won’t make the car handle/perform/run any better. Time & money spent on those goals is likely going to be more rewarding, especially if you plan to enjoy the car by actually driving it.

I have used this with success...Loctite High Strength Glue Clear Glass Glue...but still would never actually latch the vent windows closed. You don't want a latch to remove bits of glass if it were to fall off.
