1974 yellow GTS, SN 07958, USA model. It was actually the first Dino I looked at (last July) just before it went to the prospective buyer. At that time I think it was offered at $155k. RM's auction estimate range is $175-225k!

It was very tired looking when I saw it...seats showed a lot of age, dash was so faded, it was actually tan (note in description it says the mouse fur got a dye job). But I was smitten since it was the 1st Dino I looked at up close (and 1st I got a ride in).

    1. Can the badge bar be easily removed on the yellow Dino? I think that it disrupts the lines, and, I have also been told that it does more damage to the front end than if someone nudged the nose without it. True or not true?

    2. Let's take bets on which sells for more money. My bet would be that the yellow RM Dino does better than the Russo and Steele Dino because the Russo and Steele auctions are more muscle car focused and very fast paced - but who knows.

    1. It can be removed, but you'll have the holes that were drilled in the bumper. Anytime the front nose of a Dino hits something, the result isn't going to be good so I guess the nudge bar is really not going to hurt it too much more.

    2. Not betting yet, we still have a couple more weeks of interesting times ahead

Isn't there a hole in the front bumpers to accomodate the charley bar?
The difficult thing about chroming Dino bumpers is how thin the metal is after stripping the layers of nickel and copper off to get down to the steel
