I don't know the car, but my car was painted in the 70s also. Was never "hit", just crappy paint jobs from the factory.
Mine ('73) had its first repaint in 1978 - poor corrosion protection, 20,000 miles of use and Scottish climate!
Hell, I knew a guy who had his new '72 Dino repainted before he'd accept delivery- the finish was that bad.
Brandon here from ASD. The 246 was never hit. Full repaint was done a while back, most likely due to the comments above (crappy factory paint jobs). Car is stunning, 1 of 72 in Nocciola Metallizzato. Let us know any further questions.
