    I am painting a 76 308gt4 that is avorio safari and black. Is the black supposed to be glossy or matte?

    If you search around here enough you will find the service bulletin that details exactly how how to apply boxer paint scheme and exactly the (Glidden?) paint code for the paint.

    Hi was it originally boxer from factory? What is your chassis number ? I'm keeping a list of Avorio cars. And I believe the black was satin. I'm still waiting for Italianone to send me pics for the last year😕 Mike

    What a great help!

    The net result is rather a "semi gloss" in that you can see freeway striping reflected in it...so, NOT flat.

    I think the original formula works together.

    It ends up "semi gloss".
    Your painter will know how to do it.
