Wanted to know if anyone ever used permatex 51580 instead of loctite 574 to glue engine case together because here in Canada it seems like I can't find any loctite 574 or 573

I have not tried it, but tell us what you think if you do use it. Maybe - just maybe that is what it will take to make a 2.7 NOT leak.

Who am I kidding. It will still leak.

Apparently Wurth produce the Loctite product under license. I know Ruf uses wurth for rebuilds hope it helps.
