Hello, looking to repaint this car in it's original factory color, however we are not sure what was the original color. I believe in that year was offered basically two colors. Rosso Chiaro and Rosso Din. The decal for the paint under the lid is damaged so I can't decode it. Unless there's other place to look for? Car color is unknown but the paint job is hideous so I can't say if it's more red or orange towards the Dino to figure it out. Here's the VIN 20869 if that helps? Not sure how else can we be sure what was the original color though. Thanks!

Marcel Massini may be able to give 100% confirmation but when the car was offered for sale in the late 1980s it was described as Rosso Dino. Paul
$300 on a 6 figure restoration to be sure I have my color right makes sense to me. Especially since there was some disagreement and I had no good way to be sure from the car itself.
