For Sale 1977 Ferrari 308 GTB After 15 years of ownership, it’s time to pass on my 1977 GTB to the next caretaker. USA spec car, chassis #21567. Current mileage 68,324. Beautiful mirror finish black paint done in 2006, it was originally black as well. The side marker lights were removed at that time and the 5 MPH US bumpers were removed in favor of a set of lightweight fiberglass Euro style bumpers. I have the original bumpers that go with the car. Ferrari 328 wheels with Bridgestone Potenza RE01R tires 225/50VR16 and 205/55VR16 tires with approx. 50% tread. Comes with the five original stock 14” wheels in good condition with the Michelin XWX tires. They are old and hard but look good and are ok for shows. There is a full stainless steel fabricated Borla exhaust system that saves weight and sounds great. The original muffler system comes with the car. The engine was out and totally rebuilt at 58,582 miles. (9,742 miles ago) Professionally done, blueprinted, balanced rotating assembly, forged JE pistons, Total Seal rings, Stainless Steel intake and exhaust valves, heads polished and port matched, camshafts reground by Theiler and Ignition curves revised by Theiler. Petronix Ignition Igniters installed, both in one distributor for precise timing and hot spark. NGK BPR6eix iridium plugs. Original smog equipment has been removed but is in a box and comes with the car. It passed Ca. emissions testing back in the day. The supercharger is a Powerdyne centrifugal unit set up for 6 psi boost in a blow thru configuration. A high-performance fuel system uses a boost compensating fuel pressure regulator indexed to the boost level for proper delivery to the four Weber carburetors under varying driving conditions. Engine is very healthy. It starts, idles, and runs beautifully and is very fast. Gearbox and shifter work great at all temperatures. Fresh Royal Purple oil change. Heavy Duty clutch was installed at engine rebuild and is in great order. CV Joints repacked and boots replaced summer 2021. Timing belts with Hill Engineering tensioner bearings were done along with several other service and maintenance items in July 2021 at 67,924 miles. (400 miles ago) There are no fluid leaks of any kind. A/C has a York compressor with R134a, proper pressures and blows cold. Original compressor comes with the car. Air duct filters up front were replaced along with a/c drive belt and water pump belt. I have a huge file on this car. Books, tools, jack, records, and complete owner history and old FML classified ads going way back to day 1. Warranty coupon book included. Originally sold by Luigi Chinetti Motors in Greenwich, Ct. on July 19, 1977. Last service summary from 2021 is posted in the photos. All 4 owners spared no expense in taking care of this car. The interior is black, with the seats having been done in a 328 inspired pattern using an aircraft type material between heavy vinyl and leather and are perfect. Two digital gauges are mounted on the console, fuel pressure and boost level, to monitor those vital systems. This great GTB is ready to jump in and drive. Docile or spirited she does just fine and has no bad habits. With the supercharger, it pulls like a big block Chevy muscle car, probably in the high 13 second ¼ mile realm of performance. All the power adder parts are removable/reversible with little trace evidence for future “what if” scenarios, apart from the reinforced air cleaner housing. In Indianapolis and asking $110,000. Thanks for looking. 317-777-9544 https://www.youtube.com/shorts/dvCvtgBQkjo Short Idle Clip 2021 Overview video by another user from an event in 2010. Shows interior and engine bay. Very nice gtb. Good luck with your sale. I bet there is some regret looking back on selling the Countach. At least i would be. And those wheels………
A black 308GTB was what started my obsession with Ferrari. I was passed when I was 16 by one flying down the highway with a lamborghini in hot pursuit and after seeing it, I just had to have one. GLWS
Bellissima! You've certainly cared for her very well and given the old gal plenty of nice visual updates. Not to mention performance tweaks to be as potent as needed. I'm sure the next owner will appreciate the pride of ownership you've given her.
Very ,very nice, love the modsI have a 77 GTB also but red with black , 17000 miles ! I cant part with mine ,had it 40 years! Michael
What a beautiful machine. A lot of changes but for the better I feel. Purists may scoff, but it is an improved machine.
All planned out so its all reversible if so inspired. Just need to buy an air cleaner and redo the seats.

What compression ratio are you running in the rebuilt engine with the JE forged pistons? Wondering in case the new buyer wished to remove the supercharger.
That seems fine for the active and hooked up supercharger but perhaps a bit low to run without it? Although yours seems like a well-studied and accomplished modification, I'm always wary of added forced-air induction systems--admittedly I'm a dinosaur and overly cautious. What is the original factory spec?
